Syria in Transition: Civil Society, Solidarity, and Pathways to a Just Future
11–13 November 2026
ufaFabrik – Internationales Kulturcentrum | Theatersaal | Viktoriastr. 10-18 | 12105 Berlin
At this pivotal moment for Syria, the conference will bring together civil society actors from Syria and the Syrian diaspora, researchers, policymakers, and representatives of German and international civil society. Together, we will discuss the challenges, opportunities and choices surrounding Syria’s transition – from transitional justice, political participation and social cohesion to economic recovery, international policy and the future of solidarity with Syria. Syrian perspectives and experiences will be at the center of these conversations.
We are asking you to register if you’d like to participate. This is very helpful for planning the conference, especially for the translation equipment and catering.
Attendance at the conference is free, and food and drinks will be provided throughout the event.
We will not provide a live stream of the event. The participation is on-site only.
English–Arabic interpretation will be available throughout the conference.
Please note that the main conference takes place on 11–12 November. On 13 November, we will hold a smaller, closed working and transfer forum for Syrian civil society and diaspora actors, focused on priorities and possibilities for future cooperation. For this event, please register separately at info@adoptrevolution.org.
